- Bull born on or before 31/08/2023
Helen Ryman of the North Kildarroch Herd – Newton Stewart, Dumfries & Galloway, has kindly agreed to be the judge on the day.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes per class, a championship cup and reserve prize for each breed.
In addition to pedigree cattle, we welcome non-registered Galloways and beef bred Galloway crossbreds to the sale.

Show Schedule
DownloadThis year seen an additional fixture to the show and sale calendar here in Ireland. Along with the Galloway Cattle Club of Ireland, we co- hosted our first show and sale of Galloway Cattle at Ballymena Mart last Friday.
The support from local breeders was phenomenal with 67 heads put forward for sale. Of those 44 were Belted Galloways plus a single White Galloway entry.
Our judge on the day, Judith Cowie, a renowned Belted Galloway and Galloway breeder from Kirkcudbrightshire, had the difficult task of judging both breeds. The senior heifer class was so well supported that the decision was made to split the class.
