Belted Galloway Club Ireland

The Belted Galloway Club Ireland was formed following an information day on the breed hosted back in October 2011 by Des Dunne at Castlemartin Stud, Co Kildare . Aim of the club is to promote and market the advantages of this upland breed on marginal land through shows and farm visits throughout Ireland. The club is there for Irish breeders to network together and most importantly to help uphold the integrity of the breed as per the Belted Galloway Society breed standards and its constitution.
