On Sunday 29th March (4 weeks tomorrow) we will be hosting a Show Preparation and Ringcraft Day as part of the Midlands Belted Galloway Group.
This is aimed primarily at young handlers & novices but is open to anybody who would like to attend.
We will have the vastly experienced Keith Jempson & Tina Russell, who have both worked extensively with young handlers, joining us to help run the day.
Agenda for the day is as follows:
10.00am – Arrival / teas & coffees / welcome
10.15am – Washing, blowing & clipping
Throughout the morning we will have breed selection advice and a stock judging competition run by master-judge Robert Adams. (Prize for the top points scorer)
12.00 – Lunch and a talk from our vet, Georgi, from Derbyshire Farm Vets, regarding high health scheme options and benefits.
1.00pm – Show day preparation, followed by ringcraft and show-ring etiquette.
3.00pm – aim to finish.
We will also be running a raffle with some good agricultural style prizes so please support that too 
We politely ask that anyone wishing to attend would please let us know of numbers ASAP for catering purposes.
