There was a small entry of 11 animals from three breeders in this the first year of Beltie Classes at the Suffolk Show. A two day show held on Trinity Park near Ipswich, our judge for the day was Mr John Corrie of the Park herd, Tongland, Kirkcudbright.

2023 Best of Breed Winner of the Belted Galloway Challenge Cup went to Waveney Velvet, a 2021 heifer sired by Waveney Harnser.  Reserve best of Breed went to Waveney Willy Wonka a 2022 born bull sired by Waveney Harnser.

Special mention to breeder Lewis Gidney who helped on show day, we look forward to welcoming him with his own Belted Galloway cattle to the regional shows next year.
