The first East Anglian Regional Show of the year with Belted Galloway Classes was held on 29th/30th May at Trinity Park, Ipswich.

The weather was mixed, but the rain thankfully held off during the showing classes. There was a small entry of 8 animals with 7 bought forward from four breeders on the day for Judge Judith Cowie to consider. Judith has a fine herd of Belted Galloways up in Kirkcudbrightshire and is a regular on the northern show circuit with her cattle, she had a particularly successful 2019 season with her red Galloway cow; Copelaw Ruby taking the Royal Highland Show Championship.

2024 Best of Breed Winner went to Sharon Morter with Mourneview Gale a 2022 heifer sired by Dunay Nicholas.  Reserve Best of Breed went to Gruige Orpheus a 2023 born bull sired by Coulmony Bayley.
